ABC's Diane Sawyer & George Stephanopoulos to Lead Coverage of 2014 STATE OF THE UNION

ABC News will broadcast President Obama's State of the Union address with coverage by "World News" Anchor Diane Sawyer and "Good Morning America" Anchor George Stephanopoulos live from Washington, D.C. After the address, ABC will carry the Republican response. Coverage begins on TUESDAY, JANUARY 28 at 9:00 p.m., ET on ABC.

The ABC News political team including Chief White House Correspondent Jonathan Karl, Chief Global Affairs Correspondent Martha Raddatz and Senior Washington Correspondent Jeff Zeleny will join Sawyer and Stephanopoulos to preview potential topics before the address and dissect the material immediately following the broadcast. Analysis by ABC News Contributors Matthew Dowd, Donna Brazile and David Plouffe will round out the line-up.

Leading up to the President's address, Sawyer will anchor "World News" Tuesday at 6:30 p.m., ET from Washington and "Nightline" will cover the best moments from the evening. The next morning, Stephanopoulos will anchor "Good Morning America" from D.C., providing highlights from and analysis of the President's speech and the Republican response.

ABC News Digital will live-stream the President's State of the Union address, the Republican response and ABC News' coverage on ABCNews.com, Yahoo! News, HYPERLINK GoodMorningAmerica.com, ABC News' iPad, iPhone and Windows 8 apps and ABC affiliate websites. ABC's correspondents will provide in-depth reporting, analysis and video updates all evening at ABCNews.com.

An ABCNews.com pre-show will begin at 8:45 p.m., ET, anchored by ABC News Correspondent Dan Kloeffler. Following ABC News coverage, a fifteen-minute post-show roundtable hosted by ABC News Anchor Dan Harris will stream online. Both shows will feature ABC News contributors. On Wednesday, January 29th, Kloeffler will anchor "After: The State of the Union 2014? on ABCNews.com at 10:00 a.m., ET.

Additionally, ABC News has partnered with Facebook to display on screen exclusive, real-time information about what's trending on the platform during the president's speech across various demographics.

ABC News Radio will provide coverage of the State of the Union address and the Republican response starting at 9:00 p.m., ET, anchored by ABC News correspondent Aaron Katersky with ABC News White House correspondent Ann Compton and ABC News correspondent Steven Portnoy on Capitol Hill. Before the address, ABC News Radio will present a one-hour special at 8:00 p.m., ET that discusses expected topics of President Obama's speech.

ABC NewsOne, the network's affiliate news service, will provide live reports from correspondents Mary Bruce and Karen Travers on Capitol Hill and offer analysis from ABC News Political Commentator Cokie Roberts for more than 200 ABC affiliates and clients.
