ABC was the most watched net on Monday night (10.5 million) and ranked No. 2 among the broadcasters in Adults 18-49 (1.6/5-tie). ABC's "Dancing with the Stars" once again finished as Monday's most watched TV show overall (12.3 million).

"Dancing with the Stars" (8:00-10:00 p.m. - 12.3 million and 1.8/6 in AD18-49):
Winning for the 3rd week running from 8:00-10:00 p.m., ABC's "Dancing with the Stars" beat NBC's "The Voice" in Total Viewers (+7% - 12.3 million vs. 11.5 million). In addition, "Dancing" beat its drama competition in the 2-hour time slot with Total Viewers and Adults 18-49 on CBS ("Supergirl"/"Scorpion" = 8.5 million and 1.7/5) and FOX ("Gotham"/"Minority Report" = 3.1 million vs 1.1/3).

"Castle" (10:01-11:00 p.m. - 6.8 million and 1.1/4 in AD18-49):
At 10:00 p.m., ABC's "Castle" ran in a near tie with CBS' "NCIS: LA" in the hour among Adults 18-49 (1.1/4 vs. 1.2/4). "Castle" was up by double digits week to week in Total Viewers (+11%) and Adults 18-49 (+10%), earning its most watched telecast since its season premiere 8 weeks ago - since 9/21/15.

Live + 3 Day for Last Week's Telecast (11/9/15): Last week, "Castle" delivered its largest-ever L+3 increase among Adults 18-49, with a +70% jump over its L+SD rating. The ABC drama was Monday's biggest gainer in TV playback on the major networks among young adults. "Castle" built to a 1.7 rating in Adults 18-49 with 3 days of TV playback (up from a 1.0 rating in L+SD).

Projections Rationale:
Lifts vs. L+SD are based on the 2015-16 season for premiere telecast or an average for originals (excluding the premiere).
Returning shows: Profile based on same show (either premiere or averages for originals).
New Series: Based on similar series.

A note about DVR penetration: DVR penetration in the Nielsen sample is currently at 48% in U.S. TV Homes. More viewers are watching shows on their own timetables, which are increasingly not reflected in the overnight Live + Same Day numbers. As a result, the Live + 7 Day ratings are the most accurate measure to gauge the size of the TV audience.
