According to The Hollywood Reporter, Bachelor spin-off The Bachelor PAD will not return on ABC's summer schedule for a fourth season. The reality series' executive producer Mike Fleiss revealed the news to a fan on Twitter last Saturday.
Bachelor Pad's third season did not match its previous installments. The 2012 show averaged a 1.3 rating with adults 18-49 and 4 million viewers, double digit declines from the previous summer. ABC announced last week that The Bachelor's Desiree Hartsock would star in the upcoming season of The Bachelorette.
The reality game show debuted on August 9, 2010 on ABC and featured contestants from The Bachelor and The Bachelorette, who compete for a final cash prize of $250,000. Former game show host and news anchor CHRIS HARRISON reprised his role from The Bachelor, while Melissa Rycroft served as special guest co-host for the first season.
