ABC's BACHELORETTE Finale Hits Season High

With the season finale of THE BACHELORETTE and After the Final Rose, ABC dominated Monday by winning all 6 half-hours and beating its nearest competition (NBC) by 45% in Total Viewers (8.0 million vs. 5.5 million) and by 41% in Adults 18-49 (2.4/8 vs. 1.7/6). THE BACHELORETTE and The Bachelorette: After the Final Rose ranked as Monday's Top 2 TV shows in viewers and young adults (tying each other for #1 in AD18-49).

In Total Viewers and Adults 18-49, the Net delivered its best summer Monday in 2 years - since 8/12/13 and 8/5/13, respectively.

The Bachelorette (8-10pm - 8.1 million and 2.4/9 in AD18-49): From 8-10pm, ABC's THE BACHELORETTE (8.1 million and 2.4/9) won its 2-hour slot by wide margins over NBC's AMERICAN NINJA WARRIOR (6.3 million and 1.9/7), peaking with 8.8 million viewers and a 2.7/9 in Adults 18-49 during its final half-hour from 9:30-10pm. The ABC unscripted series also remained dominant in its 2-hour slot with Adults 18-34 and all key Women (W18-34/W18-49/W25-54).

Spiking week to week in Total Viewers (+16%) and Adults 18-49 (+26%), THE BACHELORETTE closed out with season highs on both measures.

The Bachelorette grew over its year-ago finale (8.0 million and 2.0/7 on 7/28/14) in Total Viewers (+1%) and Adults 18-49 (+20%). In fact in Adults 18-49, the show topped year-ago telecast on 9 of 10 weeks this summer. On average during its 2015 run, THE BACHELORETTE improved year to year in both Total Viewers (+4%) and Adults 18-49 (+20%).

The Bachelorette: After the Final Rose (10-11pm - 7.9 million and 2.4/8 in AD18-49): Holding its lead-in at 10pm, ABC's The Bachelorette: After the Final Rose earned a strong first place in its hour, more than doubling its first-run competition (NBC's Running Wild with Bear Grylls) with Total Viewers (+108% - 7.9 million vs. 3.8 million - CBS) and nearly doubling it with Adults 18-49 (+85% - 2.4/8 vs. 1.3/4).
