The season premiere of "Bachelor in Paradise" finished as Monday's No. 1 TV program across all key Adult demos (AD18-34/AD18-49/AD25-54).
"Bachelor in Paradise" (8:00-10:00 p.m. - 5.0 million and 1.5/6 in AD18-49):
From 8:00-10:00 p.m., ABC's "Bachelor in Paradise" beat out NBC's "American Ninja Warrior" in the 2-hour time slot by 7% in Adults 18-49 (1.5/6 vs. 1.4/5) and nearly doubled the
NBC unscripted series in Adults 18-34 (+86% - 1.3/7 vs. 0.7/4).
"Bachelor in Paradise" grew over its year-ago opener (on 8/8/16) by 11% in Total Viewers (5.0 million vs. 4.5 million) and by 7% in Adults 18-49 (1.5/6 vs. 1.4/5), marking a season premiere high with young adults.
"The Gong Show" (10:00-11:00 p.m. - 2.9 million and 0.8/3 in AD18-49):
At 10:00 p.m., ABC's "The Gong Show" ranked No. 1 in Adults 18-49 (tied w/ NBC's "Midnight, Texas") and shot up by strong double digits from its most recent airing on Thursday (on 8/3/17) in Total Viewers (+26% - 2.9 million vs. 2.3 million) and Adults 18-49 (+33% - 0.8/3 vs. 0.6/2), topping its last 5 telecasts with young adults - since 6/29/17.
