For the 2nd week in a row, all 4 of ABC's Tuesday comedies outdelivered the FOX comedies on the night in Adults 18-49, with "The Middle" (1.5/5), "American Housewife" (1.6/5), "Fresh Off the Boat" (1.3/4) and "The Real O'Neals" (1.0/3) besting both "Brooklyn Nine-Nine" (0.9/3) and "New Girl" (0.9/3).

At 8:00 p.m., ABC's "The Middle" tripled the audience of Fox's "Brooklyn Nine-Nine" (+200% - 6.0 million vs. 2.0 million) and led by 67% in Adults 18-49 (1.5/5 vs. 0.9/3).

At 8:30 p.m., "American Housewife" built on its young-adult lead-in for the 2nd week running (+7%) to increase ABC's winning advantage over its FOX comedy competition in the half-hour, more than tripling "New Girl" in Total Viewers (+217% - 5.7 million vs. 1.8 million) and leading by 78% in Adults 18-49 (1.6/6 vs. 0.9/3). Last week's series debut of "American Housewife" surged to a 2.5 rating among Adults 18-49 in the Live + 3 Day numbers, building by +0.6 rating points over its L+SD rating. The new ABC comedy also added another +1.8 million Total Viewers after 3 days of TV playback, growing to 8.4 million viewers.

From 9:00-10:00 p.m., ABC's "Fresh Off the Boat" and "The Real O'Neals" topped Fox's "Scream Queens" in the hour by 2.1 million viewers (3.6 million vs. 1.5 million) and by 83% in Adults 18-49 (1.1/4 vs. 0.6/2).

At 10:00 p.m., ABC's "Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D." held steady week to week in L+SD Adults 18-49 (0.8/3 vs. 0.9/3). In its new Tuesday 10:00 p.m. slot, "S.H.I.E.L.D." is enjoying the series' biggest-ever playback lifts this season. In fact on average season to date, the ABC drama is broadcast TV's No. 1 percentage gainer in the Live + 3 Day ratings, with a +90% SPIKE over its L+SD Adult 18-49 rating (1.0 rating to a 1.9 rating).

Projections Rationale:
Lifts vs. L+SD are based on 2015-16 season averages for originals (excluding the premiere).
Returning shows: Profile based on same show (either premiere or averages for originals).
New Series: Based on similar series.
