Growing its audience for the 3rd consecutive week, "The View" delivered its most-watched week 7-months in Women 18-49 (579,000/0.9 rating) and Women 25-54 (752,000/1.2 rating) - and set a 6-week high in Total Viewers (3.08 million) - since weeks of 2/25/13 and 8/5/13, respectively - pacing among the week's Top 5 daytime series in the target women categories.
"The Chew": (1:00 - 2:00 p.m.)
Boasting its 4th straight week of gains, "The Chew" surged to series highs in Total Viewers (2.75 million) and Women 18-49 (564,000/0.9 rating) and delivered its #2 week of all time in Women 25-54 (700,000/1.2 rating), behind only week of 11/14/11.
Friday's show, featuring Carla's 'breakfast essentials,' 'Mario cooking with the star of ABC's "The Neighbors," Lenny Venito' and Michael's 'leftover magic,' became the show's #1 telecast ever in Women 18-49 (652,000/1.0 rating) and its #3 telecast on record in Total Viewers (2.99 million) and Women 25-54 (766,000/1.3 rating).
Impressively, this week out-delivered the series' 2012/13 season average by hefty double digits across all target demos: +13% in Total Viewers (2.75 million vs. 2.44 million), +29% in Women 18-49 (564,000 vs. 437,000) and +20% in Women 25-54 (700,000 vs. 581,000).
"General Hospital": (2:00 - 3:00 p.m.)
Coming off its best season in 5 years, this week "General Hospital" delivered a 5-month high in Total Viewers (2.78 million) - since week of 4/8/13 - climbing by a solid 8% over the year ago week (vs. 2.58 million).
For the 2012/13 season, "General Hospital" recorded its biggest season in 5 years in Total Viewers (2.98 million), boasting the biggest year-to-year increases of any broadcast daytime drama (+14% - vs. 2.62 million), and was also the growth leader of the season in Women 18-34 (+35% - 253,000 vs. 187,000) and Women 18-49 (+7% - 770,000 vs. 719,000).
Notably, "General Hospital" qualified as TV's #1 broadcast program in daytime for the season in Women 18-34, and ranked #2 in Women 18-49 and Women 25-54.
