ABC won its 5th straight May Sweep in Adults 18-49 (1.0/4), scoring its longest winning streak for the month in more than 26 years - predating the start of Nielsen's electronic database in September 1991.
Highest-Rated Series in the May Sweep: ABC claimed a network-leading 8 of the Top 15 broadcast series during May with Adults 18-49, including the No. 1 series/comedy with "Roseanne," the No. 1 unscripted series with "American Idol-SUN" and the No. 1 drama with "Grey's Anatomy": "Roseanne" - No. 1, "American Idol-SUN" and "Grey's Anatomy" tied at No. 4, "American Idol-MON" and "The Middle" tied at No. 6, "Modern Family" - No. 13, while "The Goldbergs" and "black-ish" tied at No. 15. In addition, ABC's "American Idol-MON" stood as May's most-watched unscripted series overall, drawing more viewers than both installments of NBC's "The Voice."
