ABC Monday Prime (8:00-11:00 p.m. - 5.6 million and 1.5/5 in AD18-49):

ABC tied NBC for No. 1 on Monday in Total Viewers (5.6 million) and ran in a near tie in Adults 18-49 (1.5/5 vs. 1.6/6), while beating NBC by 27% to win the night with Adults 18-34 (1.4/6 vs. 1.1/5). ABC's "The Bachelorette" ranked as Monday's No. 1 TV show for the 2nd week in a row in Adults 18-49 (tie) and Adults 18-34, ranking as the top series of the night for 7th week in a row on the latter measure.

"The Bachelorette" (8:00-10:00 p.m. - 6.6 million and 1.9/7 in AD18-49):

From 8:00-10:00 p.m. ABC's "The Bachelorette" tied NBC's "American Ninja Warrior" for No. 1 in Adults 18-49 (1.9/7) and beat Fox's "So You Think You Can Dance" by triple digits for the 2nd week in a row (+111% - 0.9/3). The ABC unscripted series dominated its 2-hour slot with Adults 18-34 and across all key Women (W18-34/W18-49/W25-54)

"The Bachelorette" was steady week to week and up from its year-ago telecast for the 5th week running in Adults 18-49 (+19% - 1.9/7 vs. 1.6/5 on 6/30/14).

"The Whispers" (10:00-11:00 p.m. - 3.4 million and 0.8/3 in AD18-49):

During the 10:00 p.m. hour, ABC's "The Whispers" tied NBC's "The Island" in the hour with Live + Same Day Total Viewers (3.4 million) and is projected to win the hour once TV playback is included in the Adult 18-49 ratings.

On average in the Live + 7 Day data, "The Whispers" shoots up 83% over its L+SD Adult 18-49 rating (+1.0 rating point). The new ABC drama also adds another 2.8 million Total Viewers (+57%) after 7 days of TV playback, drawing an average audience of 7.8 million viewers in L7.

A note about DVR penetration: DVR penetration in the Nielsen sample is currently at 49% in U.S. TV Homes. More viewers are watching shows on their own timetables, which are increasingly not reflected in the overnight Live + Same Day numbers. As a result, the Live + 7 Day ratings are the most accurate measure to gauge the size of the TV audience.

Projections Rationale:

Lifts vs. L+SD are based on the 2014-15 season for premiere telecast or an average for originals (excluding the premiere). Returning shows: Profile based on same show (either premiere or averages for originals). New Series: Based on similar series.
