ABC Scores Saturday Night's Most-Viewed Program with Stanford-Oregon Game

The ABC Saturday Night Football Presented by Windows 8 broadcast on Saturday, Nov. 17 - Stanford upsetting then-undefeated No. 2 Oregon 17-14 in overtime - was the most-viewed and highest-rated college football game of the week and garnered the night's largest audience among all networks. The telecast averaged 8,347,000 viewers, a 5.1 rating and 5,855,000 households.

ABC also posted the second most-viewed and highest-rated college football window of the week. The 3:30 p.m. ET split national telecast of Ohio State at Wisconsin and NC State at Clemson averaged 4,867,000 viewers, a 3.1 rating and 3,498,000 households.

ESPN also postEd Strong audiences on Saturday, televising the second most-viewed college football telecast in prime time, a 52-24 Baylor upset of then-undefeated No. 1 Kansas State. The game averaged 3,313,000 viewers based on a 2.1 rating and 2,442,000 households. ESPN was also the second most-viewed network in the key male and people demos of 18-34, 18-49, and 25-54 for the night across broadcast and cable.
