Variety reports that ABC's afternoon edition of "Good Morning America" will get a new name and look. The new set and look will place more significance on hosts Michael Strahan and Sara Haines; the show will be re-titled "Strahan and Sara."

Media buyers see the change as similar to the fourth hour of NBC's "Today" show, better known as "Kathie Lee and Hoda."

There is room for ABC's new show to grow, as its viewership has not yet reached the heights of "The Chew," the show it replaced. "GMA Day"'s ratings have been steady, though.

"Strahan and Sara" came together quickly and its debut was seen as a "soft launch." The series will be tweaked along the way as the creative team figures out exactly the direction it wants.

Haines left a spot at "The View" to launch the new show. Strahan has been working Mondays, which he used to take off to recover from his SUNDAY NIGHT FOOTBALL duties. ABC will also launch another Syndicated daytime hour with former "Today" co-host Tamron Hall in the fall.
