"Nightline" saw gains on the same week last year (478,000 and 367,000, respectively, for w/o 9/5/17) in Adults 25-54 (+7%) and Adults 18-49 (+6%). "Nightline" narrowed its gaps with NBC's "Late Night with Seth Meyers" from the year-ago week by more than half in Total Viewers (-66% - 90,000 vs. 267,000), Adults 25-54 (-53% - 134,000 vs. 288,000) and Adults 18-49 (-51% - 145,000 vs. 295,000). Season to date, "Nightline" leads CBS' "The Late Late Show with James Corden" in all key target demos: Total Viewers (+88,000 - 1.402 million vs. 1.314 million), Adults 25-54 (+41,000 - 529,000 vs. 488,000) and Adults 18-49 (+24,000 - 398,000 vs. 374,000).
