ABC News' "Nightline" ranked No. 1 in Total Viewers (1.421 million), Adults 25-54 (605,000) and Adults 18-49 (499,000) for the 2 nd week in a row during the week of June 4, 2018, based on Live + Same Day Data from Nielsen Media Research. "Nightline" beat CBS' "The Late Late Show with James Corden" (1.243 million, 392,000 and 292,000, respectively) in Total Viewers (+178,000), Adults 25-54 (+213,000) and Adults 18-49 (+207,000).
For the 3rd straight week, "Nightline" turned in gains over the previous week (1.399 million, 547,000 and 456,000, respectively, for w/o 5/28/18) across the board: Total Viewers (+2%), Adults 25-54 (+11%) and Adults 18-49 (+9%).In fact, "Nightline" saw its best numbers in Adults 25-54 and Adults 18-49 in 1 year - since w/o 6/5/17.
On Wednesday (6/6/18), "Nightline" delivered its most-watched telecast (1.978 million), Adults 25- 54 (926,000) and Adults 18-49 (801,000) in nearly 1 year - since 6/12/17, 6/9/17 and 6/12/17, respectively. Season to date, "Nightline" is beating CBS' "The Late Late Show with James Corden" across the board: Total Viewers (+15,000 - 1.397 million vs. 1.382 million), Adults 25-54 (+38,000 - 513,000 vs. 475,000) and Adults 18-49 (+37,000 - 389,000 vs. 352,000).
