ABC Hits Tuesday Summer Highs With A Special Edition of 20/20 and THE LAST DEFENSE

ABC Tuesday Prime Time (8:00-11:00 p.m. - 2.9 million and 0.6/3 in AD18-49):
With a special edition of "20/20: Triumph in Thailand" at 9:00 p.m. drawing strong numbers and improved results for "The Last Defense" at 10:00 p.m., ABC moved up to rank No. 2 (tie) to an "America's Got Talent"-led NBC and hit a Tuesday summer high in Adults 18-49 (0.6/3).

"20/20: Triumph in Thailand" (9:00-10:00 p.m. - 3.7 million and 0.6/3 in AD18-49):
Building on its lead-in at 9:00 p.m. opposite NBC's top-rated "America's Got Talent," a special edition of "20/20," documenting the rescue efforts to save 12 boys and their coach who became trapped in a cave in Thailand on June 23, delivered summer highs for ABC in the hour with Total Viewers (3.7 million), Adults 18-49 (0.6/3) and Adults 25-54 (0.9/3).

"The Last Defense" (10:00-11:00 p.m. - 2.7 million and 0.5/2 in AD18-49):
In the 10 o'clock hour, ABC's "The Last Defense" jumped week to week by 50% in Total Viewers (2.7 million vs. 1.8 million) and by 25% in Adults 18-49 (0.5/2 vs. 0.4/2). In fact, "The Last Defense" marked its most-watched telecast yet, tied its high in Adults 18-49 and pulled in ABC's biggest summertime audience(Memorial Day-Labor Day) to the hour since August 2016 - since 8/23/16.
