ABC Family Takes on Musical Project; Sanaa Hamri to Direct

ABC Family's new musical movie - a first for the network - has taken further steps to completion.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, "the telefilm, still in its very Early Stages of development, will reunite [director Sanaa] Hamri and executive producer Debra Martin Chase, who collaborated on The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants 2 and Queen Latifah's big screen effort, Just Wright."
