A Meeting of the 'Carries;' Sarah Jessica Parker & AnnaSophia Robb Attend Cosmo 100 Lunch

The 'Carries' have finally come face-to-face.

Former SEX AND THE CITY star Sarah Jessica Parker and THE CARRIE DIARIES lead AnnaSophia Robb, both known for playing two versions of fictional Manhattan style icon 'Carrie Bradshaw,' met for hte first time at Cosmopolitan magazine's Cosmo 100 lunch today.

The photo on the left, taken at the event, was posted to the publication's Instagram account, along with the caption:

"Carrie meets Carrie! Sarah Jessica Parker meets Carrie Diaries star AnnaSophia Robb for the first time at the#Cosmo100 power lunch today in NYC"

Parker most recently appeared on the New York stage in MTC's 2001 production of Wonder of the World by David Lindsay-Abaire. Her other theatrical credits include The Substance of Fire, The Heidi Chronicles, Once Upon a Mattress, and Annie. She received four Golden Globe, three SAG Awards, and two Emmy Awards for her role as Carrie Bradshaw in HBO's "Sex and The City."

THE CARRIE DIARIES is based on the novel by Candace Bushnell and focuses on a young Carrie Bradshaw - before the Manolo Blahniks - as she grows up in a small town during the 1980s, learning about love, sex, friendship and family while still balancing the day-to-day drama of high school.
