60 Minutes made the Nielsen Top 10 for the third time in four weeks, finishing at #9 with an audience of 10.5 million viewers. It was the thirteenth time in 22 broadcasts that the CBS newsmagazine made the list.
The broadcast also landed on the Top 10 list in households, tying at #9 with Grey's Anatomy with 6.5/10, according to Nielsen live plus same day ratings for Sunday, March 24, 2013.
Sunday's program featured Lesley Stahl's report on Russian punk protest band Pussy Riot, JAmes Brown's story about a man's quest to play in the NFL after being exonerated of rape charges and Anderson Cooper's report on the Nile crocodile.
CBS News Chairman Jeff Fager is the executive producer of 60 MINUTES, America's #1 news program.
