Based Nielsen's National ratings issued this morning, ABC's 2014 The Oscars revised up to 43.7 million viewers and a 13.1/33 in AD18-49, growing year to year by 8% and 1%, respectively. As a result, it was the most-watched Oscar telecast in 14 years and the highest rated in 4 years among Adults 18-49.
Academy Awards for outstanding film achievements of 2013 were presented on Oscar Sunday, March 2, 2014, at the Dolby Theatre at Hollywood & Highland Center®and televised live on the ABCTelevision Network. The presentation, produced by Craig Zadan and Neil Meron, was televised live in more than 225 countries and territories worldwide.
