Turner Classic Movies (TCM) has invited 20 super fans to help introduce their favorite movies on-air this April in celebration of TCM's 20th anniversary as a leading authority in classic film. Leading the pack is Tiffany Vazquez of New York City, who was recently chosen as the winner of the TCM Ultimate Fan Contest. Tiffany and 19 other super fans will serve as Fan Guest Programmers during the week of April 7, introducing their favorite films on-air with TCM host Robert Osborne.

Tiffany was one of hundreds of contestants who submitted videos of themselves introducing their favorite films. As the grand prize winner, Tiffany will receive a trip for two to Hollywood for the 2014 TCM Classic Film Festival, including airfare, accommodations and a pair of festival passes. Once there, she will be invited to introduce one of the films screening during the star-studded event, which will take place April 10-13.

"The response to the TCM Ultimate Fan Contest demonstrated the enormous passion TCM's fans have for classic movies," said Jeff Gregor, general manager of Turner Classic Movies and chief marketing officer of TCM, TNT and TBS. "That passion, which is also shared by everyone working at TCM, has been the driver of our success for the past 20 years. Thanks to everyone who participated, and congratulations to Tiffany and all the rest of the fans chosen to be TCM Guest Programmers. We especially look forward to introducing Tiffany to TCM fans from around the globe at the 2014 TCM Classic Film Festival."

Judges of the TCM Ultimate Fan Contest were greatly impressed with Tiffany's video, from the content to the staging to the creative use of effects. The result is a video that actually looks like the movie she discusses: the seminal crime procedural movie, The Naked City (1948). Tiffany's submission video can be seen online at http://fancontest.tcm.com/entries/add.

Tiffany will join Robert Osborne to introduce The Naked City on TCM Monday, April 7, at 8 p.m. (ET/PT). Her appearance will kick off five straight nights of Fan Guest Programmers, with a total of 20 super fans introducing their favorite movies. Thirteen of the super fans competed with Tiffany in the TCM Ultimate Fan Contest, and six were hand-picked by Turner Classic Movies staff.
