1st Annual NEW YORK SCIENCE FICTION FILM FESTIVAL Announces Call for Submissions

The team that brought forth The Philip K. Dick Science Fiction Film Festival for five years running has announced the formation of The New York Science Fiction Film Festival which holds its inaugural event from November 18-20, 2016.

The festival has announced an open call for submissions in Science fiction, horror, supernatural, fantasy and animated features, shorts, documentaries, web series, trailers and virtual reality experiences. In an age where filmmaking transcends expectations, the festival will serve as a platform where dramatic plots, comedic amusement and shocking accounts come together and fuel the exploration of other worlds, alternate realities and pure entertainment for all involved.

Deadlines to submit to The New York Science Fiction Film Festival include August 20, 2016 (regular deadline), September 10, 2016 (late deadline) and September 20, 2016 (extended deadline).
