12 YEARS A SLAVE, AMERICAN HUSTLE Top Critics Choice Award Nominations; Full List Announced

"12 Years a Slave" and "American Hustle" top this year's nominations for the Critics' Choice Movie Awards with 13 nominations each.

"American Hustle," "Captain Phillips" (six nominations), "Dallas Buyers Club" (three), "Gravity" (10 noms), "Her" (six), "Inside Llewyn Davis" (four), "Nebraska" (six), "Saving Mr. Banks" (four), "12 Years a Slave" and "The Wolf of Wall Street" (six) will compete in the Best Picture category.

Among the other films which received multiple nods are "The Hobbit: the Desolation of Smaug," with five each and "August: Osage County," "Enough Said," "Iron Man 3" and "Rush," with four each.

The 19th annual event will be held at the Barker Hangar in Santa Monica and air live on The East coast on the CW network. Aisha Tyler is set to serve as the host of the show, which this year is being produced by Bob Bain Prods. and Berlin Entertainment.

During the ceremony, a "Hottest Star" award will be announced, as voted on by the online audience of Defy Media's digital entertainment news brand, Clevver.
