Zero Gravity Launches Slate of Films

Producer Mubina Rattonsey's recently launched company, Zero Gravity, has secured $100 million in financing to develop and produce film and television content. The raised funds support the production company's strong female voice and the global perspective Rattonsey brings to projects. The first film on their slate will be the modern ghost story, WRAITH to be directed by Armaan Zorace (GOD IS DEAD) and produced by Rattonsey, alongside Rohini Singh and Manmeet Singh of Maurya Entertainment.

WRAITH focuses on a married couple that heads to a new town, only to find an evil presence that surrounds them. Now they have to fight forces from other dimensions to survive. The film will be shot in a yet to be announced Islamic nation with exclusive access to film in documented haunted houses to capture Muslim exorcisms. In an effort to best document the supernatural elements essential to the story, the team is developing camera technology, "Ghost Cam," specifically designed for the project, as well as a deep attention to the film's sound.

"I consider sound to be 50% of the movie-going experience and WRAITH will feature a special Binaural 3D sound which will transport the audience directly into the world of the characters and give them an intense, immersive paranormal experience, " says director Armaan Zorace.

Other titles in development for Rattonsey and Zero Gravity include the comedy HONEYMOON IN TALIBAN; and GAMMA MAN, a sci-fi film about an adolescent teenager who acquires unexplained super powers when he is exposed to strange form of radiation.

Before WRAITH, Rattonsey has produced numerous film projects independently as well as commercials, documentaries and music videos. Her feature film credits include BEFORE THE RAINS, TAHAAN-A BOY WITH A GRENADE, KAMINEY, URUMI, CEYLON and PRARAMBHA, a short film for the Bill and Melinda Gates AIDS Foundation.

Headquartered in Los Angeles, Zero Gravity Motion Pictures serves as a multifaceted parent company that houses a consortium of integrated film development, production, post-production companies owned and operated by Mubina Rattonsey.
