TENLEGS Announces Video Competition

The new social media website for artists TENLEGS (www.tenlegs.com) has announced open call for video submissions. The winning filmmaker will be awarded $5,000 for creating three 15-25 second videos, which will be shown at a TED2012 talk, hosted by Professor Jonathan Haidt, a visiting professor at NYU, and on PBS. Professor Haight is a specialist in "positive psychology." TED Talks draw leading thinkers from around the world, and have been called, "the ultimate brain spa"-or think tanks.

The submission deadline is January 9^th. The winner of the competition will be chosen around January 14^th. The deadline for delivering the videos is February 15, 2012. The three videos can be live action, animation, or a combination, each 15-25 seconds long.

TENLEGS is a new social media site for artists of all kinds to show their work. Some have called it "the next Facebook for artists." (www.tenlegs.com)
