The award-winning documentary, "Okuyamba," tells the story of a group of nurses working tirelessly to ease the pain and suffering of people facing the end of life in Uganda, where there is little to no access to adequate pain control, and the majority go a lifetime without seeing a doctor. In honor of World Hospice & Palliative Care Day (observed globally on October 13), the nonprofit organization FHSSA will host a screening of "Okuyamba" on Wednesday, October 10 at the UCLA School of Theater, Film and Television.
