ABC's "The View" averaged 2.931 million Total Viewers, 565,000 Women 25-54 and 416,000 Women 18-49 during the week of December 12, 2016, based on Live + Same Day Data from Nielsen Media Research. "The View" outdelivered CBS' "The Talk" (2.611 million, 453,000 and 305,000, respectively) in Total Viewers (+320,000), Women 25-54 (+112,000) and Women 18-49 (+111,000), posting its largest Total Viewer lead over the CBS program since the week of its season premiere - since w/o 9/5/16.
"The View" scored week-to-week gains (2.908 million, 534,000 and 394,000, respectively, for w/o 12/5/16) in Total Viewers (+1%), Women 25-54 (+6%) and Women 18-49 (+6%). In fact, "The View" hit a 5-week high in Women 25-54 (since 11/7/16) with its 2nd-best performance of the season.
"The View" saw gains year to year (2.593 million, 531,000 and 375,000, respectively, for w/o 12/14/15) in Total Viewers (+13%), Women 25-54 (+6%) and Women 18-49 (+11%).
Season to date, "The View" is posting gains across the board compared to the same point last season: Total Viewers (+14% - 2.947 million vs. 2.576 million), Women 25-54 (+5% - 548,000 vs. 523,000) and Women 18-49 (+7% - 415,000 vs. 389,000).
In addition, "The View" leads CBS' "The Talk" in Total Viewers (+7% - 2.947 million vs. 2.755 million), Women 25-54 (+12% - 548,000 vs. 491,000) and Women 18-49 (+21% - 415,000 vs. 344,000).
