The Metropolitan Opera announced that this evening's scheduled recital in Staten Island's Clove Lakes Park has been canceled due to expected inclement weather. The recital, part of the Met's Summer Recital Series, will not be rescheduled.

The series continues next week with the same cast scheduled for this evening's recital: soprano Ying Fang, tenor Mario Chang, bass-baritone Brandon Cedel, and pianist Bradley Moore.

The final two recitals of the summer will take place on Tuesday, July 30 at 7 p.m. in Jackie Robinson Park (Manhattan), and on Thursday, August 1, at 7 p.m. in Socrates Sculpture Park (Queens).

No tickets are required for either performance.
