Due to exceptional ticket demand, LA Opera has added a seventh performance of Giuseppe Verdi's La Traviata, the opening production of the 2014/15 season. The added performance will take place at 8pm tonight, September 19, at the Dorothy Chandler Pavilion.

General Director Plácido Domingo will sing the baritone role of Giorgio Germont in performances conducted by Music Director James Conlon. The cast also includes soprano Nino Machaidze as Violetta Valéry and tenor Arturo Chacón-Cruz as Alfredo Germont. Directed and designed by Marta Domingo, the production is updated to the Art Deco era of the 1920s.
