Regina Opera Company, Brooklyn presents THE MERRY WIDOW with orchestra on Saturdays, Nov. 21 and 28, and Sundays, Nov. 22 and 29, 2015 at 3 PM at Our Lady of Perpetual Help auditorium, Brooklyn (5902 6th Avenue, Brooklyn - between 59th and 60th Streets). Tickets: $25 - General Admission; $20 - Seniors / College students under 25; Teens - $5; Children - Free.

Join us for a fully-staged performance of Lehar's sparkling operetta THE MERRY WIDOW, sung in English. In this operetta, the officials of a tiny Grand Duchy plot to keep a rich widow's money in their country, and this scheme leads to intrigue and frolic. The operetta will be accompanied by full orchestra conducted by Gregory Ortega and staged by Linda Lehr.

The cast features: Elana Gleason and Christina Rohm share the title role of Hanna Glavari the merry widow whose fortunes may save her homeland - if she marries a fellow Pontevedrian. Peter Hakjoon Kim and Nathan Matticks as Count Danilo, the playboy-bon vivant who's her former lover (and eventual new husband); with Sarah Moulton Faux and Jessica Sandidge as the saucy Valencienne; and David Bailey and Lindell O. Carter as her would-be suitor Camille (who Valencienne tries to set up with Hanna), and Gregg Lauterbach and John Schenkel as Valencienne's diplomat-husband Zeta.
