Opera Idaho has a season filled with outstanding operas, incredible collaborations and glorious male voices! The new season will be the season of the baritone, their glorious resonant sound giving life to each opera's title character. For those of you who came to Carmen, did you not love our toreador? After such a successful production of Carmen at the Morrison Center, Rigoletto will once again have us returning to this wonderful venue. The vengeance-seeking hunchback Rigoletto ... the solemn, mysterious Russian aristocrat ... the carefree man-about-town Figaro ... different men, all baritones!

Mainstage Productions of the 2014-15 season will include Verdi's Rigoletto (November 14 and 16, 2014), Tchaikovsky's Evgeny Onegin (February 13 and 15, 2015), and Rossini's Il barbiere di Siviglia (May 8 and 10, 2015). Productions À la Carte will include Rodgers and Hammerstein's The King and I in Concert (Late Summer 2014), Gluck's Orpheus and Euridice (October 24 and 26, 2014) in collaboration with Boise Baroqur and Ballet Idaho, and Krasa's Brundibar (April 16, 2015) presented by Opera Idaho's Children's Choruses.

Single tickets to The King and I and Season subscriptions will be available for purchase starting April 1, 2014. Single tickets to all other productions will go on sale August 1, 2014.
