Photo Flash: Orchestra Rehearses for BxO's THE MARRIAGE OF FIGARO

The Bronx Opera's 48th Season comes to a close with Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart's THE MARRIAGE OF FIGARO. A massive orchestra recently rolled into the opulent Lovinger Theater at Lehman College for the production. Scroll down for photos of the musicians in rehearsal!

Follow the amorous adventures of the married and bored Count Almaviva and his continued philandering. This time he has chosen the fiancée of Figaro - once a barber, now the Count's right-hand man. Mozart's crazy day includes appearances by a slimy music master out for revenge, a scheming spinster, a drunken gardener, and numerous... and amorous... cohorts. Performed entirely in English, this production of 'FIGARO' will be performed exclusively at the home base of the BxO, Lehman College's Lovinger Theater, located at 250 Bedford Park Blvd West, Bronx, New York on Saturday, May 2 at 7:30 pm; Sunday, May 3 at 2:00 pm; Friday, May 8 at 7:30 pm; and Saturday, May 9 at 7:30 pm.
