The Summer is about to get even hotter!
New York City Opera invites you to join us for a sizzling production of Carmen, presented FREE in Bryant Park this coming Friday, July 29th at 6:30 pm.
With the second installment of the Free Opera in The Parks series, New York City Opera continues its tradition of bringing opera to the people with this hour-long, staged in costume presentation of highlights from Bizet's beloved drama. A perfect introduction for newcomers of any age, we invite you to bring your friends, your family, and of course, your love, to this passionate evening. Unwind after the long week under the evening sky and listen to the innkeeper Lillas Pastia as he narrates the tempestuous story of the irresistible seductress, Carmen and her hapless lover, Don José.
