Follow the characters which were introduced in Rossini's The Barber of Seville! Will Figaro's former friend, the Count, steal his bride-to-be on the eve of the wedding? Mozart's genius is on display in this sophisticated masterpiece that infuses comedy into the much darker elements beneath. Director John Hoomes distills Figaro to its delicious dramatic essence in what critics have called an "artistic triumph." With the orchestra out of the pit and the action downstage on a platform surround, this highly theatrical staging will pull you into the emotion of this important Nashville Opera premiere.
