Houston Grand Opera to Host Costume Sale This October

Calling all kings and queens, knights and ladies-in-waiting! Houston Grand Opera announces a fabulous costume sale from its private warehouse on Saturday, October 8, from 12 noon to 4 p.m.

Just in time for Halloween and the Texas Renaissance Festival, the costume sale will offer more than 7,000 costume and vintage clothing items for children and adults, as well as shoes, hats, fabric, and props. HGO is renowned for its costumes and wardrobe pieces, and has worked with award-winning designers to craft costumes now on sale to the public. From headdresses for Cleopatra to Shakespearean doublets, from royal capes and crowns to kimonos and wedding dresses, there is something for everyone.
