Dr. Meribeth Dayme, the founder of CoreSinging and author of the best-selling book, Dynamics of the Singing Voice, is now accepting applications for CoreSinging Teacher Certification Courses scheduled in October 2014 and January 2015.
CoreSinging is a universal approach to vocal performance pedagogy, that encourages teachers to suspend judgment and initially teach without emphasis on getting it "right" or affecting any particular styles or systems. Equally valuable for the novice or experienced singer, the concepts of CoreSinging can be introduced at any stage of a singer's development. Concepts drawn from Western tradition, oriental mystic and healing arts, and quantum mechanics are bringing new and extraordinary results to the teaching of singing.
"My passion is working with teachers of singing. It is such a pleasure to witness the wonderful results that occur in their teaching and singing over the five day period." Dr. Meribeth Dayme commented while describing the benefits of the course. "Once teachers and singers have permission to release their imaginations and natural teaching instincts, there is no stopping them! Their students are benefitting in every way. "
Participants can expect a nurturing and supporting atmosphere allowing one to experiment and observe, learn numerous practical and original exercises, observe master classes, receive a manual and study guide, individual video feedback and debriefing, and a tailored reading lists in the field of voice, performance and energy. A Daily freshly prepared organic lunches will be provided in addition to a final celebratory dinner at a local restaurant.
The course is limited to six teachers per session and is available to voice professionals who teach and work with singers at any level or style. Upon completion of the program the participant will receive a certificate identifying the recipient as a "Certified CoreSinging Teacher." The participant would be a candidate for further certification in Advanced Teacher and Trainer Certificates.
"CoreSinging turned out to be a springboard for both personal and professional growth." Sally Mote-Yafe, a graduate of the CoreSinging Teacher Certification Course praised the program, "I discovered things about myself as a singer, a teacher, and as a person that I could not have discovered anywhere else.
