CMASH is a New Music repertory group committed to establishing and nurturing long-term collaborative relationships between composers and performers. As a part of the organization's educational goals, a master class is planned at New York University's Graduate Musical Theatre Writing Program.
New York City is one of several places the organization will visit on its seven-day tour of the Northeastern United States, according to John Grimmett, Managing Director of CMASH. Other concerts include Willowdale Estate (Toppsfield, MA), Bemis Hall (Lincoln, MA), and the Academy of Vocal Arts (Philadelphia, PA). Additional master classes are planned at Longy School of Music (Cambridge, MA) as well as collaboration meet-ups for aspiring composers, wordspeople, and performers in both Boston and Philadelphia.
