The venerable Bronx Opera presents La bohème, one of the greatest operas of all time featuring the tragic romance of Mimì and Rodolfo, one of the greatest love stories in all of opera and musical theater. Giacomo Puccini's La bohème, tells - in soaring detail - of the lives of a group of impoverished artists in Paris in 1830. The struggling Parisians became anti-establishment artists and fringe people in the East Village in the 1980s for the now-legendary musical, Rent.
