The Atlanta Opera announces that two-opera season ticket packages, including Gounod's Faust and Rossini's The Barber of Seville are now on sale. Also available are Opera Gift Certificates customizable in any amount the purchaser desires. Opera Gift Certificates are valid for any Atlanta Opera production at the Cobb Energy Centre. Both offerings can be purchased by calling Atlanta Opera Patron Services at 404-881-8885. The two-opera season ticket packages, ranging from $47-$312, are also available at atlantaopera.org and include subscriber benefits such as priority seating and flexible ticket exchanges.
The opera productions included in the season ticket package are two of the most iconic in the operatic repertoire. The immortal tale told in Gounod's Faust will be presented on March 8, 11, 14, and 16, 2014. Faust has not been seen in Atlanta since The Atlanta Opera last produced it in 1995 for its inaugural performance at The Fox TheatrE. Rossini's comedy The Barber of Seville will be presented on April 26 and 27, and May 2 and 4, 2014. All performances take place at the Cobb Energy Centre.
