Biography
Formed Nikki & Rich in 2009 as a writing team and started their group by writing with Melanie Brown for her solo record. They were a combination of hip-hop influenced tracks and huge soul ballads reminiscent of 60's style live instrumentation.
In 2010, they made their TV debut on “The Ellen DeGeneres Show” and performed “Next Best Thing.” They next appeared on “The Tonight Show with Jay Leno” and performed “Cat & Mouse.”

Nikki Co-Wrote “Make U Love Me” for Robin Thicke’s “Sex Therapy” CD and toured with Carrie Underwood in 2009 and sang backgrounds for the “Some Hearts Tour,” also appearing with her on the Grammy’s, American Music Awards and Saturday Night Live.
Prior to all this, Nikki had a successful career as a Gospel artist. “Shelter Me” was on Billboard’s Top 200 Album Chart. From that album, “Everlasting Place” went to Number One and “It’ll Be Alright”, “It’ll Come To You” and “Love One Another” were all Top 5 hits.
