MICHELLE MALONE

BIO:
I have a great bio that goes on and on about the music I make...you can read it at Wikipedia or www.michellemalone.com....but it's not who I am...it's merely what I do... YOU WANNA KNOW WHO I REALLY AM? I was born and raised in Atlanta by a musician mom with whom I toured in the summers. I dropped out of high school at 16, lived in the streets and lived dangerously while developing some nasty habits. I got clean, went back to high school and became the valedictorian for a small class. I went to Agnes Scott College with dreams of becoming a doctor...then I got a record deal with Arista. All i've done for a living since then is play music - my last 2 CD's were each on the Grammy ballot. Neato! I ran the Paris marathon for Team In Training/The Leukemia Society. I rode my bike with Team Earth Challenge from Atlanta to Yucca Mountain, NV in protest of the nuclear waste dumping there. Now I concentrate on music! I'm hard at work on my next CD - Shawn Mullins is producing and Gerry Hansen is engineering. Look for it in Fall 2012!
