LISA LOEB

BIO:
Grammy®-nominated singer/songwriter Lisa Loeb started her career with the platinum-selling No. 1 hit song “Stay (I Missed You)” from the film Reality Bites and has parlayed that early success into a multi-dimensional career encompassing music, film, television, voice-over work and children’s recordings. Her acclaimed studio releases include the Gold-selling Tails and its follow-up, the Grammy-nominated and Gold-selling Firecracker. Additional albums include Cake And Pie, Hello Lisa, The Way It Really Is and The Very Best of Lisa Loeb. Touching a larger audience, Lisa has also recorded two award winning children’s CD’s Catch the Moon with noted children’s musical artist Elizabeth Mitchell and Camp Lisa, and starred in and produced two television series, “Dweezil and Lisa,” for the Food Network and #1 Single, a dating show on the E! Network. A strong believer in the importance of helping others, Lisa created the Camp Lisa Foundation which raises money to send children to experience summer camp who otherwise would not have the opportunity. Continuing with her unique ability to bring her artistic creations to new audiences, Lisa is currently working on “Camp Kappawanna”, a children’s musical inspired by her CD Camp Lisa (with music and lyrics written by Lisa Loeb, Michelle Lewis and Dan Petty). The show debuted in July 2010 in Miami, FL at The Adrienne Arsht Center for the Performing Arts and will be presented again this summer, June-August 2011 in Fort Laurderdale. This Fall, Lisa brings her celebrated sense of style to the world of designer eyewear, with the Lisa Loeb eyewear line that is being introduced in the Fall of 2011 www.lisaloebeyewear.com Lisa is thrilled about the upcoming release of her first book with Sterling Publishing, “Lisa Loeb's Silly Sing-Along: The Disappointing Pancake and Other Zany Songs” being released on October 4, 2011.
