INTO IT. OVER IT.

BIO:
My name is Evan and this is Into It. Over It. Since 2001 I had played, written, recorded and performed in bands. The Progress, Up Up Down Down Left Right Left Right B A Start, Map The Growth and Stay Ahead Of The Weather have been a few. In 2007, I wrote, recorded and released a new song every week for an entire year. The free download project was called 52 Weeks. About 6 months after it's completion it was formally released in June 2009 by No Sleep Records as a 2xCD. The following year (2009/2010), I wrote and recorded 12 songs about stories and experienced I'd had in 12 different towns. These songs were spread across 6 split 7" records that I shared with the bands CSTVT, Everyone Everywhere, Such Gold, Pswingset, Empire! Empire! and Bob Nanna / Lauren Lo. The following labels had a hand in releasing them: No Sleep Records, Topshelf Records, Count Your Lucky Stars Records, Evil Weevil Records and Mightier Than Sword Records. The collection of all 12 songs is called "Twelve Towns" and is now available through Topshelf Records on one CD/LP collection. During the Summer of 2010, I recorded 5 songs about my experiences in 5 Chicago neighborhoods which appeared on a split CD/LP with my good friend KOJI. It was released by No Sleep Records in November 2010. That same Summer, some friends and I banded together to write and record 5 songs for a 7" record under the moniker Stay Ahead Of The Weather. It was released in December 2010 by No Sleep Records. In July 2011, I recorded 12 brand new songs with the help of Ed Rose at Blacklodge Studios in Eudora, KS. These songs were to be released the following September by No Sleep Records on CD & LP. The album is called "Proper".
