BIO:
Mark, age 23, is an accomplished auctioneer, it's said that he was the youngest licensed auctioneer in the state of Illinois. Mark started singing and playing music when he was 8 years old. He can play the "a-cue-stick" and electric guitar, banjo, bass fiddle, dobro and drums. Mark is also a Broker and co-owner of Tarrant & Harman Real Estate and Auction Co. in Bethalto, Illinois.
Jeff, age 21, has been working at the auction since the age of 10. Jeff started singing and playing music when he was 8 years old. Part of Jeff's work week is spent at Maneke Jewelers in Alton, IL, where he has worked since he was 16. He can play the upright and electric bass, guitar, mandolin and drums.
John, age 15, has been helping at the auction since the age of 10. He learned to play and sing at the age of 9 years old. John played the acoustic and electric guitar, banjo and mandolin with his friends Jared and Maria Bensman in "The Little Trio." They played a variety of music styles for 3 years, while playing regularly with the Harmans, John also helped his dad and brothers build a new house.
Mike was a Rounder recording artist and a member of Alison Krauss and Union Station from 1986 to 1990. During this time, Mike performed on the Grand Ole’ Opry and recorded on the Grammy nominated Two Highways album and on the platinum seller Now That I’ve Found You – A Collection by Alison Krauss.
Mark and Jeff have performed professionally for the past nine years. John is a great addition to the vocals and instrumentals.
Mark and Jeff, as well as their father Mike, have won and placed in various talent and band contests throughout the country and performed at the renowned Station Inn, Nashville, Tennessee.
