BIO:
Dow Jones is a hip-hop artist who fuses southern swagger with a northern rapping style. Dow, a Detroit product, currently lives in Charlotte, NC. Presently, The 22 year old is working on his debut album, entitled J.O.N.E.S. His weekly performances in various venues in North Carolina and South Carolina are earning him a following in the south east to go along with his fan base he has already earned by performing in Michigan and Minnesota. Dow is also currently recording his debut album entitled J.O.N.E.S. Jones also is recording and overseeing the debut Global Storm Entertainment (the label he co-founded with producer Feytality) mixtape. Previously Dow Jones has opened up for Nappy Roots, and was a featured opening act on the Come Home With Me Tour which featured Cam’Ron and Fabolous. He has also been featured on multiple DJ Polo Mixtapes including, When Animals Attack Volume 4, and 50 MC’s Volume 2. He is also featured on the Global Storm Entertainment mixtape Weather The Storm Volume 1. Dow has also been highlighted in XXL Magazine, OfficialLastWordOnline.com, Creative Loafing, The Carolina Promoter, RapStation.com, VH1.com, WindowsMedia.com, Allhiphop.com, and, as well as various internet radio interviews. He was also 1/5 of the group, The Free Agentz which broke up due to personal reasons, after the release of their debut album Bust Back 2. Dow Jones also hosts events and parties in Charlotte making him a known figure in the area on a personal level as well as musically.
