CHRISTIANSEN

BIO:
Where I come from My earliest memories are of learning to read from the King James Version of the Bible and Curious George. I gave my heart to Jesus at the age of seven, kneeling at a wooden altar by my father's side. In high school, I became aware of a call to ministry, but instead decided to "take a trip in the belly of a great fish." While in the fish, I studied English literature, then law. When a series of "coincidences" brought me onto Multnomah's campus in 1985, I knew I was home. I was thrilled when I was later asked to join those by whom I had been taught. Along with teaching, I am a doctoral student at University of Aberdeen. Family I met Ana in 1979, soon after she emigrated from Romania. We learned to speak each other's language, and were married in 1981. We have two children: Timothy and Adina. Though I now prefer the Greek New Testament over the King James Bible, I still enjoy reading Curious George.
