ALABASTER

BIO:
Alabaster is no stranger to touring, selling out shows, opening for national acts like, Yellowcard, Switchfoot, Set Your Goals, Cartel, We are the In Crowd, Emberghost, Lights, and many more. The band is well known for creating a merch frenzy, and is an icon in the Seattle scene for bringing independent Pop Punk & Alt Rock back into the forefront right alongside some of their local besties, Peace Mercutio, Keeping Secrets, & Man without Wax. For those who love the perfectly executed mix of lyrical melodies loaded with harmonies, will find Alabaster an epic win. How much straight up ear candy can you take? Because there is more coming... with the recent release of "Unraveled" in 2012, and the new EP about to Drop in 2013, "The Villain in Me" the band is tearing down every horizon with their own style, eminence, and grace. So look out and soon you will find, "Alabaster" everywhere, nothing's going to stop them now. Seriously. They. Are. On. Fire. At the core of Alabaster you have 3 individuals who left their family, friends, jobs, and loved ones to move out of the suburbs of Chicago, and make Seattle their new home to focus solely on music. The band as whole though, has sacrificed it all for one dream and one purpose, to get the music out to as many people as possible. No matter what the cost is. With 3 more members sealed in they have the right line up in place to go big, with the addition of Marlon Deppen on Bass guitar, Dwayne Scott on Drums, Laura Samsel on Keys, and as always, you have the great Shaina Rae (probably one of the best female singers in the NW) owning it on lead Vocals, Joe pummeling it on Rhythm guitar, and Kate still writing lyrics & slamming haunting melodies on lead guitar. Alabaster is ready to take on not only Seattle but the world. In the past they have graced the stages of CMJ, Warped Tour, SXSW, and they have played in countless cities all across the great US of A from Topeka KS, Long Island, NY, Chicago, IL, Pocatello, ID, Las Vegas, NV, everywhere possible in CA, and then back around again. This band just loves being on the road, it is definitely their home away from home. Their live show and current line up is second to none and will launch them into an extremely busy music career loaded with longevity and playing for the masses! Bottom line, they couldn't be more stoked! check out the links for press, purchases, and videos! iTunes : http://tinyurl.com/agdoaxa YouTube: http://tinyurl.com/aqsaj9d Site: http://alabasterband.com/
