io & Titan Releases First Single WANDERING MIND via Ghettoblaster

Brooklyn songwriter and multi-instrumentalist Matt Schlatter aka io & Titanreleases his debut single "Wandering Mind" via Ghettoblaster. The single comes from his long-awaited debut EP a dream of Two moons available everywhere June 1st.

The composition of "Wandering Mind" started while on a trip to India in 2016, and was inspired by Indian Classical Music and Schlatter's longing to return to a place where he could linger with music as his sole focus.

"When I got back to Brooklyn, the real life of work and responsibility hit me pretty hard. Compared to the perfect musician days I was having, it wasn't very fun. That's what inspired the lyrics. I was longing to get back to a place where I could linger with music, and keep it as the focus in my life. Wandering Mind is basically my belief in the creative spirit. "

The song begins with a slow ambiance that builds into a beautiful crescendo of layered guitars and soothing vocals reminiscent of Paul Simon and Dirty Projectors.

On a dream of Two moons, Schlatter describes his sound as melodic pop songwriting, with moods created by overlapping, world-inspired, rhythmic layers.
