Yoko Ono Lennon and The John Lennon Educational Tour Bus (Lennon Bus) presented by Other World Computing (OWC), the premier non-profit 501(c)(3) state-of-the-art mobile production facility that provides hands-on creative experiences to students of all ages, announced today the culminating event of the fifth annual month-long Come Together NYC residency: a gallery exhibition at Adorama in New York City on October 17th from 5:00pm to 8:00pm EST. The event is free and open to the public. Local students, community members, supporters, artists, activists are encouraged to join the festivities.

"John would be very proud to know that this project encourages young people everywhere to embrace their creativity, and share their ideas for peace. I am so happy to be celebrating the 21st year of the John Lennon Educational Tour Bus," said Yoko Ono.

The event will showcase an impressive collection of student work created during the Lennon Bus' visits to various schools, festivals and venues across New York City. Committed to providing increased access to music, audio, video, photo and broadcast technologies, students spend a full day on board the Lennon Bus creating the music, video, and images needed to take their original ideas from concept to delivery. Final projects on display will include everything from original songs, music videos, documentary films and photography projects created by students with help from artist ambassadors/mentors Ringo Starr, Yoko Ono, Jeff Bridges, famous rock photographers Henry Diltz and Bob Gruen, celebrity Chef Franco Noriega, artist/songwriter/activist Michael Angelakos from Passion Pit.

"New York City was John's adopted home, and the Bus has received such a warm welcome back to New York for the fifth consecutive year, returning to some of the same schools and partnering with the city's elected officials to celebrate his legacy," stated Brian Rothschild, Co-Founder and Executive Director of the Lennon Bus. "After the bold 'Bed-In' kick-off at City Hall with Yoko Ono, Ringo Starr and Jeff Bridges, we look forward to premiering the brilliant works our New York students developed over the past month before we continue with the rest of the 2018 tour."

"It is great hosting the Lennon Bus at Adorama because we share the common goal of supporting the next generation of creators," expressed Larry O'Connor, Founder and CEO of OWC. "Working together, OWC is proud to support the NYC residency, offering students from across the city the opportunity to work with the latest technology while expanding the reach of John Lennon's message."

Other event highlights include a live performance from American psychedelic rock band and viral sensations, Blac Rabbit, a "Bed-In" photobooth station in tribute to John Lennon and Yoko Ono's legendary non-violent protests in support of world peace, gear giveaways and remarks from local political and school leaders.

The Lennon Bus will be on site and available for tours. Visitors will receive an exclusive look at the latest in music products, and audio, video and broadcast technologies, found on board. Students will also hear first-hand about potential career paths from the engineers who live and work on board the multi-million dollar networked facility that travels year-round throughout the U.S.

Throughout the month, the Lennon Bus made stops at schools across the City, working with a new Lennon Bus curriculum titled, "Come Together", developed in association with ed-tech start-up Nearpod, to engage students in conversation and creative activities around topics including peace, empathy, immigration and activism.
