Gina Grant, founder, CEO and creator of the Women That Soar Awards announced Wynonna Judd, four time Grammy Award nominated singer and New York Times bestselling author, will perform at the 2016 Women That Soar Awards, to be held on Sunday, November 13, 2016 at the Hilton Anatole Hotel in Dallas, Texas. Judd's chart topping hits include "Only Love," "Something You Can't Live Without," and "No One Else On Earth."

"Wynonna exemplifies strength. She is a woman who has overcome personal and professional obstacles. Her story and journey lines up with what Women That Soar is all about," says Grant. "In addition to being an incredibly talented singer and songwriter, Judd is a bestselling author and acclaimed actor. Her work on behalf of organizations like the USO, Habitat for Humanity, the American Red Cross and YouthAIDS has touched the lives of millions of people around the world. We are proud to have her grace our stage as both a performer and as the recipient of the Women That Soar Legend Award."

Judd began her career over 30 years ago partnering with her mother, Naomi Judd. Twenty-three of their singles ranked on the Billboard Hot Country Singles charts with fourteen of them hitting number one. Their duo, The Judds, sold more than twenty million records and racked up over sixty industry awards; including seven consecutive Country Music Association awards and eight Billboard awards. When health concerns led to Naomi's retirement in 1991, Wynonna entered the next phase of her career, alternating between solo albums and collaborations with some of the biggest stars in music, including Clint Black; Michael Bolton; Dionne Warwick; and Lynyrd Skynyrd. Her fall 2016 tour takes her to sixteen cities between August 10 and December 9.

Comedian Heather McDonald will also join the star-studded evening as a red carpet host. McDonald was the star of TLC's "All About Sex" and for seven years served as a writer and producer on E!'s top rated "Chelsea Lately" series, starring Chelsea Handler. Audiences know her for her many appearances on "The Tonight Show," "The Wendy Williams Show," and "Frasier," as well as her Showtime standup special "I Don't Mean To Brag" and her New York Times bestselling book "You'll Never Blue Ball In This Town Again," which hit the #1 spot on Amazon's "Bestsellers in Entertainment" list. "Heather pulls no punches with her humor," says Grant. "She's one of the sharpest comedians working today, and like the best comedians, she is brilliant at commenting on real world situations in a way that makes you think as you laugh."

Los Angeles news anchor Palmira Pérez, along with Marta Fox, former First Lady of Mexico will present the Business Award to Nina Vaca, CEO of Pinnacle Technology and named by Business Inc., as The Fastest Growing Women-Owned Businesses in the United States in 2015. Perez, one of the most trusted Hispanic journalists in the industry, is an Emmy nominee and a four-time winner of the prestigious Golden Mike Award, presented by the Radio & Television News Association of Southern California.
