Will Ackerman and Lynn Yew Evers will present "The Gathering" on Friday evening, October 28th, 2016 in the Weil Recital Hall at Carnegie Hall which will feature Grammy Award winning guitarist Will Ackerman and award winning pianist & composer Lynn Yew Evers.
Ackerman, founder of Windham Hill Records, will be accompanied by award winning composer and concert pianist Lynn Yew Evers.
"Lynn has the heart of a romantic and the hands of an artist. The combination is very powerful. Lynn's music is like a walk through the most beautiful garden you've ever imagined; her compositions are imbued with profound emotion and grace" states Ackerman who produced Lynn's latest album Elysian .
Also featured in the concert will be a group of multi-talented musicians including Vin Downes - Guitarist/composer and recording artist, Trevor Gordon Hall - Guitarist, Jill Haley- Oboist/English horn and Eugene Friesen, Cellist/Composer

Trevor Gordon Hall, is rated one of the top guitarists in the world under the age of 30 by Acoustic Guitar Magazine. "In the genre of intriguing guitar players, Trevor really stands out. His music is both soothing and challenging" - Graham Nash, Rock and Roll Hall of Famer, Crosby Stills and Nash.
Jill Haley is an Oboist/ English Horn player who has added melodic lines to many instrumentalists' recordings. She has also released 4 recordings of her own of music about our National Parks. Music and Media Focus says about her recordings, ' Magnificent job capturing the spirit and evoking both the feel and the natural beauty of our precious National Parks in her instrumental landscapes.'
Eugene Friesen is active internationally as a cellist, composer, teacher and recording artist. He has performed widely with the multiple Grammy winning Paul Winter Consort and Tri-Globo as a soloist and clinician.
