Celebrated brother and sister duo Wild Belle premieres a surprise double A-side single today featuring new tracks "Untamed Heart" and "Morphine Dreamer" ahead of their fall North American tour stream here and download here.
Wild Belle's video for "Untamed Heart," directed by the band's Natalie Bergman and her Rude Girl Productions crew, also debuts today, watch it here. Bergman calls the video "a lost transmission from a public-access dance show in an undisclosed tropical location."
"Untamed Heart" was produced by Doc McKinney (The Weeknd) and Wild Belle's own Elliot Bergman, while "Morphine Dreamer" was recorded with the legendary Daptone Records crew.
Wild Belle kicks off a very special, limited run of U.S. tour dates this Thursday at Washington, D.C.'s Black Cat, with further dates at New York's The Meadows festival, Chicago's Fulton Market Harvest Festival, Corona Capital in Mexico City and more. See below for full tour details.
Another single from the band is set for release this month featuring two new tracks: "Hurricane" and "Paralyzed," recorded in Nashville with The Black Keys drummer Patrick Carney and featuring string arrangements by Chicago maestro Matt Ulery. Wild Belle will donate proceeds from the sale of these 45s to Hurricane relief efforts.
Wild Belle is an American rock band formed by siblings Elliot and Natalie Bergman. Raised in Chicago, the band is influenced by their extensive travels to Jamaica, blending Chicago soul with hints of early rock steady and reggae.
Producing their own albums, directing their videos and film clips, and also being individually sculptors, painters, poets and collage artists, Wild Belle have created a self contained universe of both art and sound.
Wild Belle's highly-anticipated third LP is set for release in 2018.
